This is a book of textures I made from a paper bag. I used different samples of paper punch cutouts and painted the pages with gesso and acrylic paint. I sewed it closed with a bit of jute and attached a paper and fiber bead I had in my stash.

This is a project I completed when my Mom was visiting. She made one too. It is made out of wool sweaters that we fulled in the washer. The 100% wool sweaters came out the best. Nice and dense. We cut them in squares and machine sewed them onto a larger piece of black sweater in a grid pattern. We then hand sewed the little squares and beads on with silver thread.
